At least as I type this its nice and hot here.  I have been told at home its pissing it down most of the day and some one even told us they had to put the central heating on!!!
I am in Benidorm for two weeks holiday with Donna and Kadi.  Its the first time we have been aborad with Kadi on our own.  Last year we went with Donnas sister and brother-in-law and I can see the difference it makes when there is more of you to look after a young child.  After my early morning run, which has either been my longest run of the day or my session, I have been spending my days playing around the pool keeping Kadi entertained and I seem to spend my time keeping all the other kids at the hotel busy.  A bit of sun bathing, a lot of drinking water and a lot of swimming.  Time is flying by.  It´s the first time I have been to Benidorm.  I was expecting a hot Blackpool which didn´t fill me with joy but after looking around and seeing the shops, bars, the hundreds of people it attracts it´s in a total different league to Blackpool.
Kadi has been enjoying herself and obviously Donna is topping her tan up.  Shes been out running each morning and sometimes in the evening as well.  I have been trying to keep to flat paths and roads but gets a bit boring so have ventured up to the large cross on the hills surrounding the town.  Mile pace goes from 5.30s to 9.30s within a mile!!!  Makes for a fast run back down!!!
The commonwealth Games marathon is fast approaching.  Congratulations to Ben on being selected as well.  Should be fun in India doing a four lap marathon.  Hopefully I wont let anyone down this time and get all four laps done!
I am looking at racing the Sheffield 10k on my return which will be interesting to see how I go.
