Ben Moreau

Ben got into running when he was 11 through the standard approach of compulsory cross-country and realising he wasn't that bad at it, but when he was forced to do a county trials, he finished 103rd, and so wasn't one blessed with natural ability! Since then he has gradually progressed, mainly through hard work and increasing his training rather than a natural gift! He has spent most of his career at Aldershot, Farnham & District and has enjoyed success over cross-country, track, and road with the career highlights including running for Great Britain at the World Student Cross-country championships, as well as representing England over 10k and half-marathon distances.

Ben is now focussing on the half and full marathon, with the main focus for 2010 being London Marathon, and hopefully a major championships.

"I am aiming to run sub 2.18 at London Marathon, and hopefully that will qualify me for the European Championships or Commonwealth Games"

Ben fits all this in with a full-time job in online advertising in London. Luckily his job is supportive of his running and don't mind him being a bit late sometimes if he has to do a 15 mile run before work. He also receives kit support from Saucony, as he has for the past 2 years, and is extremely grateful for their support
