Rest is good. Ben likes rest
Well I thought I should do an update, seeing I was languishing at the bottom of the blog league table. In the past 2 weeks I have done 55 mins of running in 2 runs. Go me! I always try and take 2 weeks off after a marathon and seeing as the Commonwealths was my 3rd marathon in 6 months it's doubly important that I recover well. I certainly don't want to be tired going into 2011, as I'll only get an 'I told you so' from Nick who probably thought I shouldn't have done the Commonwealths!
Still, I think I'll be fine, and I won't be doing anything harder than steady running until mid November I expect. I've run some 'slow' marathons since London, due to the conditions I had to compete in and I'm itching to run some fats 10ks and halfs again, ready for a sub 2.15 assault next year.

Enjoy the rest- it will be a long hard winter of 5,10k and hm's to prepare you for the 2011 marathon onslaught!
