Sorry - been busy!

Hi all,

Sorry - been a bit busy with work and stuff recently. Am still pretty pleased with how things are going. This is my 4th week in a row of around the 100 mark and the legs are used to it and I've barely had any days where I've felt heavy legged or tired, which is positive. So either a) I'm in great shape and body is coping; b) I should be doing more or c)  I've peaked. I think it's 'a' really. I think pushing on too much more with the training is a little risky - no doubt I will have a couple weeks ith some real volume runs and lengthy tempo, which are the features I'm yet to properly implement into my training. At the moment the weekly volume is there, and the sunday runs ar elong enough, but I just need to start bringing in the real sustained tempos and Sunday ones with marathon pace in.

Have also sorted my race plan up now, which includes quite a few races but many I'll be training straight through and using as hard efforts with steady runnign round them. I just need to ensure they don't stop me doing good Sunday runs, but I have Wednesdays off work and so could always not do Tuesday reps and use Wednesdays as a hardcore day also, so I'm confident that I can still get these important runs in. To me, they're vital and last year when I did Amsterdam, these were the runs that tested me and made me feel dead when I got home. I can cope with reps and the tempos and the weekly volume, but when I can nail the 20-22 miles runs with marathon pace in, I know I'm ready.

Night all!
