Up date
Hi Guy's and girls hope all is well this week in the land of running
It has been a pretty good week of training this week, it has been the first time in about a month that we have got back on schedule and are now back to 3 sessions a week after all that white stuff hit us and cocked everything up .
Me and Owain did mile reps on Tuesday which was nice !!But to be fair went really well the slowest one was 4:40 and the quickest was 4:25 so got to be happy with that
Did a jog stride session on Thursday which works out about 30 200s in total, and then to finish of the week we did a hilly grass loop which is about 800 metres long did 4x2 laps of race pace and then at point s picking it up and back to race pace which I really enjoyed tough but good .
So where do I think I am at Training / Race wise I could have done with a few more sessions before heading into the southern x/c but there you go I am I reasonable shape out of a percentage about 90% so still have a bit of work to do which by the time I have done the southern should bump up the % a little then get back to the sessions and then head towards Barcelona half Marathon which I don't like saying but would like to run low 64 maybe high 63 if training goes right from now and no more snow comes back and then into the Nationals were I would like to Team medal and a top 8/10 finish, then into the World Trails again I would like to get 8/10 place I always like to be in peak shape for the Nationals and Trails.
After that I will be doing more Half Marathons and then maybe by the end of the year step up for my Marathon debut but again we shall see how everything plans out .
Everything else is ticking along nicely at the moment Nicola is pretty big now and we have less then 3 months to go which is scary not Nicola I meant the fact that we will have a new responsibility to look after love the best we can, had the Mid wife appointment last week at listened to the heart beat again all is well Baby's heart beat was about 140 Bpm so that rules it out being a runner with a pulse that high so Nicola may get her wish and baby may become a Dancer like Mummy only if it is a girl.
This time next week we will have 15 k of parliament hill in are legs and will let you now how it went in my blog and race report have a great week of training and remember even when you are having the worst session or run without it you would miss it like crazy and there is always tomorrow

Hi Malmond thanks fot your`e comment you sound just like me , yeah baby room is done and you are damm right i was quite proud when i completed it just hope the baby approves,dont like the lack of sleep bit tho part of having a baby i surpose once again thanks for taking the time to read and comment means a great deal

snap - mummy wanting the little one to be a dancer like her, while i naturally will be putting the spikes on her as soon as she can walk - good luck with the running and hope your all doing well preparing the house for the baby(best bit of DIY you will ever do) - will change your life mate but will give you new energy and focus when it comes to your training(once u get over the lack of sleep)
