World Champs

Hi Runner’s hope all is well and that everyone is enjoying the coverage of the world champs been some great races so far, best races so far have to be superhuman Bolt ,and being a long Distance guy the 10,000 metres with the legend Bekele winning again surely he has to be ranked along side the great one Gebrselassie.

I have to feel sorry for Eritrea’s` Tadese because he worked so hard to drop Beklele and at one point I thought he might but when you can run a last lap in 56 secs not much chance, I would like to do just one lap in that time unbelievable they are like machines fantastic stuff it motivates me watching these races.

I hope my Bedford and County Team mate Paula makes the start line in the marathon which after winning the New York half marathon I hope she will do as she has only ever lost 2 of her marathons  out of ten and we no why injury when she is fit I can’t see Paula getting beat so fingers crossed.

About myself quickly Training going ok this week a few little niggles but nothing to worry about, sessions feeling good, race this weekend the last British League we need all the point `s to keep us from going down so fingers crossed I can put in a good performance and so can the rest of the team next week got 3 easy days running which be nice to recharge the body you never know might even take a day off
