6th April, Busy week

Hello all, Running wise it has been a good week, starting to get fitter and still feeling good. Ran a few 6milers over last few days and hopefully will edge them up to an hour at the end of the week.

This week will be a busy one, as getting married on Saturday and just a few last minute jobs. Just as normal in a week that is one of your busiest and stressful of your life, I have other stuff that needs sorting. These in include both car’s MOT’s, and then car insurance for one, and then a few other things that I just don’t need this week! Lucky the future wife is off teaching this week, so we can both sort final stuff out together. The other thing to sort is the honeymoon stuff, as off to Las Vegas on the Sunday, so no time to stop!

Hopefully in Vegas, along with having a good time, I get some miles in the tank with the sun on my back. Then can start progressing things when I get back, as would like another 4 weeks of just steady running with the odd tempo. Thinking that all those years of effort and hard sessions are in the system, so just need to get basic fitness up first. I don’t think it will take me long to get race fit after that, and then should have a good summer after, as will be very hungry to run fast.

It’s great to see Runnerslife going from strength to strength and I would like to welcome Phil and Nick, to the team. I have really enjoyed reading their blogs after the World cross, and will be great having them going into a big summer for all the team.

Hopefully will get another blog in later in the week, if not then it will be after the wedding from the Hilton honeymoon suite!!

Cheers James
