9th January, The Bermuda Mile

I can't believe we are already 9 days into 2009, the time is flying by already and soon I will be off in the far away country of Bermuda and hopefully better weather. The Bermuda trip included the famous KPMG front street mile, which I was lucky enough to win on my first time to the Island in 2003 and then retained the title a year later in 2004. It's a very special place for me as it was the place where I first earned enough from running to pack in the Tele-sales job I was doing at the time. The whole Bermuda experience is an amazing one and I have still to find a place on my travels with nicer and friendlier people. It was therefore an honour when Neil Speaight and my self were asked this year if we would come out early and put on a kids coaching clinic. It's a hard job sometimes but I don't mind doing it a few more years longer!

The 'KPMG Mile master class' will take part at 5pm at the National Stadium in Bermuda and should be great fun for all those that attend.

So keep posted for the report of the 'master class' and also the KPMG Front Street mile which takes place on Friday 16th January.

Cheers James
