Getting Organised
Afternoon :)
This last few days ive been organising my life, travel and accomodation too and from races for the next few races up until the Senior AAA's in Birmingham... I never actually realised how expensive it is racing up and down the country all season until I was paying for it myself soo I think I need to say Thank You to my parents for doing this for me for the last 8 years for cross country and track races. I hope ive made it worth it with results and attitude towards my athletics, as im very grateful! :)
Other than that ive just been working, training and on facebook a little too much probably which can't be good for me. Training has gone well and im hoping my next few races reflect that. My only little problem has been my lower back keeps locking up but I think weve put this down to tight bum muscles that are putting pressure on my tail bone although I cant actually release them myself so I will have to wait for my physio appointment on wednesday and just put up with it. Its a problem I have had for a while and every now and then it locks up especially after a heavy week training or alot of track work so im thinking its biomechanical. As long as it doesnt hurt and just aches though I dont mind and a good physio session sorts it out :)
Im racing 1500m this weekend at the u20/u23 Scottish Championships although im going to guest in the u23's race as I think alot of the best girls have moved up age group this year so that should be a quick race, which is what im hoping for as it will give me a good base to run my 3000/5000m races from. People have asked me why im not going down to race it at watford but Liz and I decided that it wasnt good for me to do that when we think I could get a decent run up here, therefore saving me on the travelling as I have quite a bit of travelling to do in the following weekends with both the AAA's coming up!
I will put the report up after the race and hopefully it will be a happy report :) Good Luck to everyone racing at Watford and other races this weekend!!!
....x
