Glad to be home!

Afternoon,

I would just like to say a massive Well Done to everyone at World Champs in Poland (Tom, Ronnie and Wilko). BUT Especially Kate on her 19th place, this is an excellent run, as I know she has had a tough few weeks, but looks like its all behind her and WELL DONNE :D. Love you x

Also Well Done to everyone at the Home Countries in Mansfield. I got asked to run but turned it down prefering to concentrate on training but also because I had planned to travel home that day, and don't like changing my plans at short notice. However it looked like a good race and with some good results. Well Done everyone!!!

Am at home now, which im very happy about... Seeing all my family, friends and of course my puppie Rupert. Its quite warm down here, which is good, because all I keep hearing from people is how they are going to Portugal for some sun and I am soooo jealous, but its warm here so there, not jealous (much) anymore !!

Not been upto much this week, just training and working as usual apart from Friday night when we (flatmates) all went to see Frankie Boyle (mock the week) in Fife... Which was really good, he's quite controversial but its all in Humour so shouldn't be taken too seriously. Ive had quite a few late nights this week which means ive been quite tired, on top of travelling, so thats not good, but will be sorted out whilst im at home and get myself into a good routine ready for the summer. As im sure you all know from previous blogs my next race is the National Road Relays in Birmingham; Im really looking forward to this as I feel I want to prove to myself and others that im in better shape than my last trip to Birmingham for the World Trials. So this is quite important to me and therefore im going to be eating well, and getting plenty of rest to ensure I do everything within my control to get a good result on the roads and go into the summer full of confidence.

Hope everyone is running well and having fun, whether they are here or in Portugal. Hope to see you all in a few weeks time for the National Road Relays.

x
