Mark Draper

In 2002 Mark Draper was awarded a full Flora London Marathon Scholarship to study Sport Science at St Mary's University; the High Performance Centre for endurance running. Here is where he broke the 14minute barrier for 5k at the age of just 20 (13.57) and ran 3.43 for 1500m. Mark has represented Great Britain on the track and at cross country, and still only 24 has a long time to improve on his times and take part at another major games having won Bronze at the youth European Olympics. He trains hard; race's hard and likes nothing more than doing a tough session and then settling down with a nice cup of tea! He is quite reserved character but is more than happy to help whenever he can and share whatever he has, a good guy to have on your side and RunnersLife is very pleased to have him on board.
