This time of year is great. The National road relays are such a good event. In our sport there aren’t many opportunities where we get to compete as a ‘Team’ and this is the main one. Unfortunately over the years I haven’t been able to run this event as much as I’d have liked. I’ve usually been away at a training camp etc getting ready for the summer track season.

I see it as being able to give something back to your club, team mates and managers. Team managers give a lot of their spare time to organise us ‘runners’ all year round and it’s not an easy job, something I wouldn’t want to do!! So when the chance comes along to contribute to your team I think it’s important to take that chance. (On another note; I can’t wait to turn over Belgrave on sat..)
