Straight talking, No nonsense, tells it how it is...that's Neil Speaight at first impression, which is a fair description but he can also be the best man you can meet in Athletics.
Aside from the usual training hard, being one of the fastest guys in Britain Athletics History (5th Fastest Great Britain, indoor 1500m runner of all time) He is a very loyal, outgoing, organized, forward thinking runner who will often be on the end of a phone passing on advice.
He has been very unlucky not to already have been to an Olympic Games but is a runner of the highest standard with experience at the top level including Golden League meetings, Commonwealth games and world indoor Championships.
