Trainingsession Week Ending 10th May 2009

Monday 4th May

am: 1hr steady.  Was good and running pretty well.  Didn't get another run in due to dropping Kati off at the airport, having to go to my Nans to fix a shower on way down to Wales!!  

Tuesday 5th May

am: 45 mins easy with simon, felt good and relaxed

pm: Track 6 x600 off 90 secs lap jog then 6 x 200 off 45 (1.38, 1.36, 1.35, 1.34, 1.34, 1.33) (28, 28, 28, 27, 27,27)  Felt good.  Was very windy and pretty cold.  Got the first one wrong with the pace but pushed on a little after that.  Not quite as quick as I would have liked but given the wind it will do.  Had help from Chris Hicks who took us through the first 200/300 which was a great help.

Wednesday 6th May

am: 90mins easy/steady.  Was quite a tough run given some of the little hills and sand dunes, but at times running quite well.  Was very windy again!

Thursday 7th May

am:45 mins easy.  Legs a little heavy but not too bad.  Felt better as the run went on.

pm: Track 8 x 1k off 90 secs.  Felt good.  It was very windy which didn't help but running with James and Simon and help from Chris Hicks again jumping in for 200's.  Managed to hit a good rhythm and felt pretty comfortable with getting quicker each one. (2.56, 2.53, 2.53, 2.52, 2.51, 2.51, 2.50, 2.44)  I think that given the few extra miles this week I am probably fitter than I thought so ready to try and put a bit more quality in.

Friday 8th May

am: 1hr 10 mins steady.  First 26mins all up hill, was tough but then leveled out and the pace picked up, and felt good.  Given the session in legs from last night really pleased.

Saturday 9th May

am: 1hr steady.  Felt good and a nice way to finish off the week, only problem is sitting in the car for 3 1/2 hours to get home

Sunday 10th May

am: Hills 10 x 1mins efforts.  Was good, felt strong and running well.  Thought I would put hills in as I have run a few miles this week and a long run on Wednesday so all good.
