Trainingsession Week Ending 1st Feb 2009
Monday 26th January Flew back from New York, so easy 30 mins in the evening
Tuesday 27th January am: 35mins steady, felt pretty good and running easy
pm: Track 10 x 500 off 50 secs rest, average 79.3. Felt really relaxed, strange session but there were some guys at the track doing 4, so thought i'd jump in and run one in the middle of their rest, hence the 50 seconds. Ended up leading all them plus the ones on my own, but good just to have people there. Was very relaxed and running strong.
Wednesday 28th January 1 hour with 20mins tempo, felt a little flat for the first 20 mins, but then felt better and picked the pace up at 30 mins, and was was running strong. Was cold but happy enough
Thursday 29th January am: Ran 30mins with Dave, felt good and running easy, was actually a really nice morning, sun out and no wind
pm: Tack 2 x 3 x 300 off 2mins and 5 Between sets. First set 40.8, Second 41.3 Was aiming for 39's but the temperature has really dropped and I just couldn't get warm, almost shivering. Also felt like I was going flat out and just couldn't life the legs, heavy footed! So not that good, but hey done dusted, move on....
Friday 30th January 1hour 10 steady with 10 mins hard in the middle. Felt good, was cold although not as bad as last night and a different type of running, not getting cold resting.
Saturday 31st January Day Off
Sunday 1st February 30mins steady. all I had time to do due to other commitments
