Trainingsession Week Ending 22nd March 2009

Monday 16th March:                OFF 

Tuesday 17th March:               OFF  

Wednesday 18th March:          1 hour easy.  First run back after 9 days off, but felt good.  Really nice day and really enjoyed it.

Thursday 19th March:              am: 30 mins easy.  Felt very heavy legged!  But nice morning and happy enough.

                                            pm: 7 x 1k off 90 secs rest.  Felt ok, a little heavy and it was cold considering the day had been so nice.  Just ran as relaxed as possible as a rhythm session to ease myself back into training.  Was thinking about doing more as felt ok but keeping it steady.  All inside 3 mins, so happy with session.

Friday 20th March:                1 hour steady.  Legs felt sore and I felt tired!  Last 15 mins was really tough.

Saturday 21st March:            45 mins steady.  Was in two minds as to doing a session (prob hills) or not but legs were very sore so just ran.  Good decision as felt really ropey and the last 20 were hard.

Sunday 22nd March:             90 mins easy.  First 40 were really tough but then got a second wind and felt great over the last 45 and picked the pace up a little and was running strong so really happy.  Great day for running.
