Trainingsession Week Ending 3rd May 2009
Monday 27th April am: 50mins easy. Was raining and pretty cold, but good running.
pm: 50mins steady. Still raining but was good running and felt good.
Tuesday 28th April: am: Decided to do session in Switzerland incase I got home too late. So did 8 x 1 k forest loop. Undulating, averaged around 3.04. Was pouring with rain and got soaked but loved it!
Wednesday 29th April: am: 30 mins easy.
pm: 1 hour steady. Felt good and running well. Went hard for the last 5 mins which felt good.
Thursday 30th April: am: 35 mins easy, started to rain but only very light, was windy but mild.
pm: Track 10 x 300 off 90 seconds. (45.0, 42.6, 43.0, 43.4, 42.5, 43.0, 43.0, 42.4, 42.5, 41.5) Felt good, was windy but mild. Dave was running 200's which helped, as I let him have a few seconds and then tried chasing him down.
Friday 1st May: Run 1 hour steady, legs felt a little heavy from last night but still not too bad and managed to pick up a bit in the last 10 minutes.
Saturday 2nd May: Run 55 mins easy, felt pretty good and relaxed. Along the towpath of the Grand Union Canal. Beautiful evening.
Sunday 3rd May: Run 1hr along the tow path, felt pretty good, although couldn't run that fast due to it being undulating but happy enough, weather starting to turn a bit, windy and overcast.
