Moving
Its been very hectic the last few days with a move to a new flat on Monday, lots of work, a broken down hired van when in the middle of moving and boxes everywhere. Still settled in nicely now and loving the place and the views from the balcony. Just need to get some pictures up on the wall and it will be great.
Training has been a little indifferent these past few days as cleaning (and the place you leave has to be spotless) and boxing stuff up and carrying it around has been tiring, but glad it is over now. I had managed to get a few quicker sessions in the woods done and I am going to attempt a race tonight in Interlaken. A mile on the road, so although a little daunting after so long off and unsure of fitness I am sure it will be fun. James Thie flew in to town on Wednesday night and has been staying here, which has been great, apart from the fact he brought the rubbish weather with him... Thanks James! It has been stunning here and I don't think I have been out of just shorts, needless to say it started to rain Wednesday night, the sun is hidden behind the clouds and it has been pouring. A few hours to the race and looking out it is raining, windy and cold. Hmm still the same for everyone so I am just going to enjoy it. A strange race as the women start 30 seconds in front of the men, around the same course and first across the line takes the spoils. This usually means the start is crazy, but we will see what happens tonight and hope that the achilles will hold up and be fine. Could have done with some warmer weather to help but not to be. Unfortunately James has to fly straight out to Bristol Half Weekend so will not be staying around as it would have been good to have a couple of beers, but there will be more times I am sure.
Other than that just been really busy, the blog not updated that much as the internet had been cut off for the move, so apologies for that.

No chance you would beat me in a thumb war, I even got lottery funding for playing for England! Much easier than athletics!
