Slightly better

Can't believe that we are already quarter way through August, this week has gone so fast it is crazy!  Still the good news is that I am training everyday and it is slowly starting to get easier.  I have my training plan set out for the next month or so and should be progressing well over the next few weeks.  At the moment, no real target but I should have the jump on people for the Autumn Road series, (well the jump on myself, as I am usually terrible fitness wise after a normal break in September!) but that all depends on how the achilles hold up.  They don't really feel that bad when running, sore to touch but not painful, and as that has how they have been for a decade then it doesn't overly worry me.  The problem was when I couldn't actually lift my feet off the ground without being in terrible pain.  I am just keeping my fingers crossed that the orthotics are doing their job and helping the situation, so for now its back on things to get fit and then competitive.

Today the weather was incredible, but so hot when running, and I am up to 50 mins for the first time but it must have taken its toll more than I expected as I got "whats happened to your face?" :-)  When I got home!!

Hmm old age maybe?!

I've just realized I hit 31 next month, where these last 10 years have gone is anybodies guess?  Talking of questions if anybody out there knows of anybody who has any job openings in Switzerland then give me a shout!

Well that's about it for now, other than had another great cycle this week, but no pictures this time.  Went for a more hilly route which really was tough, although I am finding that I am getting quicker getting up the hills, so something is working.

Thanks for reading

Neil
