Trainingsession 1/2/10-7/2/10
The training leading upto BUCS.
Monday- am: 1 hour steady. Felt really good
pm: Circuits from home.
Tuesday- am: 30 mins easy.
pm: Standard track session with Steve of 10x400m but with the 3rd and 7th one hard off 1 min. Times were 66, 65, 62, 66, 64, 65, 61, 64, 63, 64. Felt really good and again, finished the session feeling like I could've done more.
Wednesday- Easing down for BUCS starts. Did 40 mins jogging.
Thursday- 15 min jog to Cannon Hill, then 6x20s strides and then 15 min jog back. Felt fine.
Friday- Travelled to Stirling then did 15 mins easy from the hotel. Legs didn't feel like they had a journey in them.
Saturday- BUCS XC. See race report.
Sunday- 1 hour from hotel in Stirling. Turn out was poor this morning, it was only me Wilko, Joe Townsend, Carl Smith and Ollie Ziff with a couple of them still a tad tipsy. A nice easy run but a poor effort from the rest of the team still in bed.
