Exams. Enough Said
Horrible time. The weather is starting to pick up and I have to spend most of my time indoors revising or doing tests, total BS. I have to apologise for not blogging for a couple of weeks. With the workload being what it is it has lead to a lack of blogging, and the workload is huge! I did the typical student thing and left it all to the last minute even though the lecturers said months ago to start revision early, I still didn't get the message. I do this every year and every year I say to myself "I'll start revision earlier next year", it never happens.
Even though I have loads to do the running is not suffering. I find this time helps with running because there are no classes to go to so you spend most of your time at home, so there is more time to fit in running. I never let my work get in the way of running. I always balance things out so both get done, and if one has to suffer, then it will probably be the work! I had an exam today and I've got more on Wednesday and Friday, and I was getting so stressed last night because I thought I didn't know enough. I was even thinking of pulling out of Loughborough on Sunday to do more revision, such unforgivable thoughts. Going out running acts as a good break from everything anyway and clears the head. I have been going quite well over the past week or so and will put up my training when I finished doing this blog. I'm lining up to do the 3k on Sunday and will be hoping to get the first PB of the season.
During Saturday's session I had a bit of a photoshoot. I got a call from Martin Exley (aka the Brooks Guy), on Friday and he said that Athletics Weekly had done an article on me and needed pictures of me in Brooks gear. I was completely surprised by this because they hadn't interviewed me or told me about it so I can't figure out where they got their info from. The only thing I can think off is that it is an article with me in it and not actually about me. Anyways, Maria brought the digital camera down and tooks some pics of me and Steve doing the track session on Saturday in matching outfits. Hopefully they will use some of the pics in the article and it will be very interesting to see what is said. I don't know when it's coming out so just buy AW every week until you see me in it.
Also, thanks to the guys who have left comments but because of the work I haven't had time to reply, but I will try to get round to it. Exams end on May 22nd so normal service will resume after that. Going to get the training up then go for a track session.

Thats an order.
Whats this obsession with Runnerslife team members and modelling (Simx and Saucony etc) are these companies desperate or keen to use top runners?
Glad that you have a good balancing act and that your running is not suffering man!
