Trainingsession Day Eleven- Costa Del Wolvo Camp

Felt good on the run this morning. Again on my own (would be nice to have the luxury of running with a group in the mornings- like the lads in portugal) but its okay- dont mind battling on my lonesome. Actually felt great this morning- floated the run and switched off from the bad weather.

PM- 40 mins inc football pitch bursts

I did a 25 minute loop then finished up with 10/15 minutes of jog the width and sprint the straight on a footie pitch near the house. I like to do this before a race as it gets the legs turning over without hammering them. Probably worked out as 16/18 efforts- but controlled and at a sensible speed. I felt rubbish on the run before hand, really sluggish and flat-- probably the ikea pasta i had 3 hours beforehand-- not a great idea!.. Quite a low miles day for me, so hopefully tommorow will see a difference in how the legs feel.
