Trainingsession Day One- Costa Del Wolvo camp
A.M-- 50 mins
Enjoyed the extra hour in bed this morning- although as predicted I was wide awake at half 6. It was nice to be able to take my time though with the run- especially after it (Dont usually have enough time to stretch properly and savour the morning run ). Ran along the canal and looped back down the disused railway- so it was all off road.
P.M-- 60 mins
Similiar to the morning run was able to go off road, and look after the legs. Was prob clipping out 6 min miling and felt good. It was bloody windy on the canal though, and nearly drop kicked a dog after about 35 minutes-- It always pisses me off when the owner shouts "oh, dont worry he wont bite you, he just doesnt like joggers!"- cheeky bastard. Got my own back though cos the dog decided to join me on the run-- and after 5 mins of running next to me- i guess you could say his owner was a bit out of sight-- the little shit of a dog looked a tad lost when i turned off the path to head for home and he realised he hadnt got his gps with him- shame!!-- Will probably see him in the morning chasing his tail on the same route.

Training Holiday camp!
Phil I admire your commitment by trying to re-create your own individual training camp in Wolvo!
Ian H Posted on April 7th, 2009The Black country will never be the Algarve afraid, but you seem to be following a similar training schedule. Only thing missing (apart from heat and sun of course!) is a pack of like-minded top level athletes to train with and push each other harder.
Can't you persuade some of the Tipton guys to join you? Surely Hinchy amd Williams would be up for the challenge!
Keep up the hard work and think of the euros your not spending!
