Trainingsession Day Ten- Costa Del Wolvo Camp

AM- Rest (core stuff)

Decided to take a rest this morning from running and just do core- Like the person posted on my previous blog- I was actually becoming running mad, and trying to cram too much in. I dont want to ease down for this weekend too much, but do want to be sensible at the same time. I think its important at this time of year to not go crazy- otherwise the wheels will come off in July and its game over then. I ran an easy 65 tonight and felt good- legs were tired but expected that-- knew that having the morning off would have the opposite effect and make me feel more fatigued. To stop me stressing about not running this morning and after yesterdays horror golf show i went to the driving range (practice my tee off). It always chills me out whacking the crap out of a few golf balls, and takes my mind off running and stuff....Im no tiger woods though- in fact im pants, but guess it kills half hour.

Slow down gently

just keep the legs ticking over nicely to prepare for the onslaught of the race on Saturday. Tipton for the cup eh?
Start resting the mind and body a little now as you have done the hard grind as prep for a fast pace at Sutton park.
