Once again i'm slacking on the blogs
My apologies, i'm slacking once again and not updating. I feel i'm letting a few down so you have my word for a few regular updates over the coming weeks.
I'm actually about to get out the door for a run and I was killing some time while I put some charge into my Garmin so i'll continue this on when I'm back home in an hour or so and get a race report up about the weekend.

I don't see a problem with running with an iPod however I bet the older generations do!
Ryan Posted on June 29th, 2010As long as you don't find you need it or miss it on runs if you don't have it with you. I will run with mine from time to time but I don't ever get in the midset that I have to take an iPod on a long run and I certainly wouldn't use it for tempo runs or sessions.
Hope that helps
Ipods
IPODS can make you mentally lazy as they take your mind away from the total concentration and focus needed to train the mind for success in races.
Distance guy Posted on June 28th, 2010Our coach instills total focus and full concentration when training either alone or in a pack.
This makes runners psychologically tougher/stronger and rearing to go and win!
just run with the ipod love

hi ryan!,
runner1 Posted on June 28th, 2010blogs are great . as im increasing my 1500m (female u20 5:01 been running 1 1/2 years) time im starting to take running more seriously on my steady runs out of training i use an ipod and not sure if this is a good idea as when in race scenario i do not have this distraction and not run as quickly . Would you suggest doing runs with no ipod or am i fine to continue this way . My coach does not agree with them however it makes my runs far more intresting!
thanks
