Cant Find Anything!

Don't you just hate it when you lose something, and as Lee Evans said it's always in the last place you look...well who keeps looking when you have found it! Hehe

Obviously moving house I am trying to find the TV stand for the telly to take which has been put somewhere or as some in the house believe, my brother has swiped it and taken it up to Manchester. While looking for that though up the attic I came across a winning prize from about 5 years ago in a local 5k race, a multi stainless steel steamer!! I never thought I would get excited about cooking products but I must be getting old or as the new 16 year old girl at work said to me..."your really old aren't you".

Back to running and I think Ben needs to clarify the whole gay pride situation when the other day I was running with someone who said "I think that gay one on your site writes good blogs", obviously knowing that I thought all the guys were all happily partnered with Girlfriends (apart from Ryan..hmmm?!) I questioned his statement and he said Ben, I have no problem if you are Ben as it would tick a box for us on equality!

I will be sleeping at 'Hotel Sharpy' tonight, I have a few things to do today so wont be going up until about 6:30pm so will catch him for a cup of tea and chat before bed time, hopefully 'Sharky' the cat will be pleased to see me. I will of course be at the Birmingham 10k tomorrow evening and RunnersLife athlete Ryan McLeod is pace maker for our little group which seems to be Dave Norman, Matt Bond, Kevin Skinner, Dave Wardle, Myself and couple of others at about 29.30-40 pace. Although Andy Vernon will be taking everyone's attention as he is going at a minute quicker! Maybe Shapry might take a few laps if he is there with me (hint, hint!).

I have pretty much tried to do the same as last week; I am not going improve anymore with hard training with only a few weeks left to Bristol so it's all about maintaining and recovering for races. I did 4xMile on Tuesday with 2minute recovery's on the road which went alright, I was trying to hit 4.45 pace but with only a start and finish mark I got the first one a little off (4.53) but then hit 4.43, 4.48, 4.45 which considering there are some little ups and downs the pacing was pretty good id say!

So onwards and upwards and I plan to write a blog saying I am knackered on Sunday because unlike last week I am going to put myself in a position for a 'pb' at half way even if the wheels do come off, I know I am in good shape so as Draper would say 'just go out and do it'.
