Much like last week everything seems to be going alright for next week. I was a little bit tired after the 10k and then a tough little 16miler on the sunday morning but Tuesday didnt go to bad. I still want to work hard-ish in the sessions but recover a little bit in between and without the volume so I did 8x400m at 63seconds with 2minutes recovery. I probably could of pushed out a extra second or two on each rep but no real point. Then Last night I did 3x2mile on the road (pretty dam windy here on the seafront) in 9.42, 10.01, 9.59. I was trying to hit 10mins but went out a little to hard on the first one and the second had a nasty 400m climb but felt alright and with 2minute recovery again I finished feeling good.
I thought as the new season has started in the footy I would take time to share some things I have learnt in the first couple of weeks:-
West Ham and Millwall fans don't like each other.
Mick McCarthy would be a great character on Emmerdale.
Roy Keane is still scary.
There are going to be 8 teams in the top 4 this year.....according to expert pundits.
There is a team called Burnley.
Newcastle might finally win something after 50 years...the championship!
Mark Hughes Plays football Manager, after signing Kompany, De Jong all he needs now is Vanden-Borre....they are useless in real life though.
Hardgreaves is still a Man Utd player...I know, I thought he had retired or something!
Liverpool's best player was in fact Alonso, who would have thought.
Real Madrid has a lot of money.
Arsenal still cheats.
Jamie Redknapp talks a lot but doesn't really say anything.
A defensive midfielder from Brazil would never work....Lucas.
Everton definitely wont be selling Lescott this transfer window!...o sorry the just did.
Chopra can score lots of goals if the defenders are rubbish.
Norwich need a rallying cry....where's Deliha Smith when you need her!
No one can compete with Sky, good effort though Setanta.
Harry Redknapp likes Peter Crouch (signed him for 3rd time).
There was a good reason for Man City letting Geovanni go for free last year.
Fans are never happy.
Still no one good enough to replace Zidane in football!
