House Hunting
I would like to thank everyone for the kind words on seeing the Saucony photo's, yes it does take time to look this good and doesn't come easy!
So with training picking up nicely and things going well with the girlfriend we have decided to buy a house! I know there are some that worry about what I will do after running and how not being to university may affect me if running doesn't work out which it may well not, but I have faith and if not then I am sure I will be fine.
So as I don't want to move to far from home as the running here is so good we are looking at the next town and have been to look at a few houses and things are looking good. I don't anticipate moving in the next month or so but hopefully by the summer I will be writing blogs from my own house. Lee is doing a lot of the work so I can concentrate on training and not get too bogged down with things, I will keep you posted on the house hunting though.
On training, it was a mixed bag really having picked up a sore throat on Tuesday after a session on the track. I did some 300m efforts with 3 of them at 42seconds which is a time I have never run faster than so was happy with that. Wednesday I scrapped what I had planned and ran easy twice and just once on Thursday, luckily I was then ok by Friday so managed a steady 6miles in the morning (sub 5:45 per mile for 4 miles) and then a hill session of 6x3minutes in the afternoon (driven back down so recovery's wouldn't be to long). I am happy as I do sometimes try and run through things like sore throats only to make them much worse even if the week isn't quite what I wanted.
Not long till Trafford 10k and the first 10k since the 32minutes in Richard Burton 10k early January, let's hope it's a bit faster next time.
Simx
