Down and Out

 

So im still battling illness, not a lot i can do at the moment apart from sleep and hope that it gets better. I am reluctant to run as i would have in the past as it seems to take longer to shift the virus, fingers crossed i might get out for a run tomorrow though.

 

When im ill i sleep really bad so i think it's a good sign when last night i only woke up about 4 times, might even try for an afternoon nap now!

 

On the training though, the 1st block was nearly finished anyway. I had planned for 5 weeks of building the mileage with steady running but easing off on the more intense sessions on tuesdays, thursdays, and saturdays., i had 5 more days left! i got to a new high mileage hitting 107 miles last week and have 2 easier weeks coming up to recover for the next couple of blocks that will be a bit harder. I got my long run up to 2hours 20minutes but would of liked to get to 2hours 30mins like i was doing last winter running home from work.

 

I think the website is looking great, it's still changing every day at the moment as we still have things to add, change, or just improve a bit. Hopefully we can bring a latest news so everyone knows what is happening elsewhere i.e Racing, Guest runners etc.

 

So only a quick update, hopefully write about some training soon.
