Supersonic...

I still can't believe Oasis have separated, the Noel brothers were like the perfect half's that make a rock n roll band. You had Noel, up there in the hierarchy of guitar players making it look as easy as colour by numbers along with master pieces for songs over the years when even Paul McCartney once said Noel was one of the best song writers around. With songs like Masterplan only making it as a 'B side with my favourite being either 'listen up' or 'supersonic'! Liam is the essence of rock though, his attitude, out spoken views etc, he is the epitome of rock and I just don't think it will work if either left. They have always been a constant on the ipod and the play list is littered with their songs for warm up, they will be missed but at least I got to see them live a few times with the last only being in July.

I Everything is sorted for next week at Bristol, I have my hotel room sorted although not sure is sharing my room (hope whoever it is doesn't snore), I have booked the train tickets (only £14 return from Bridgend), the training is all done, I have my new kit to wear, so all I have to do this week is not do anything stupid or get injured.

I am never a fan of the final week before a race if it is one I am preparing for, I start worrying about any sneeze or slight cough I have, I keep wondering if I have done enough training or the right training and so on. I always suffer with nerves more so on relay events but even just by myself, I have got better over the years using music to keep them at bay until hour before the race when I want to feel them...I just put on slow songs. I will try and get up quite early all week to get my body in a routine for the early morning race start on Sunday and eat what I would race day so my body is used to it.

Anyway Sunday will come and go and there will always be other races if it doesn't go quite right but you never know Sunday might just be a great day.....On Any Given Sunday!
