If Carlsberg made weddings this would be it, it was in fact FlorenceBlue if anyone is getting married and want's a day to remember....it 
even included the one drunk who threw up over the dance floor and gave everyone something to talk about over breakfast!
 
As it happened I had done something to my groin and after trying to run through it I decided to take a few days off and enjoy the weekend in Winchester, as Sp8y used to tell me "There is more to life than running". Lee is good friends with lauren (the Bride) and there is a group of about 6 friends and luckily all the boyfriends/husbands get on so makes it so much easier for everyone. We went out to dinner the night before after getting to the hotel and then everyone going to the big day went to a great little pub after the meal.  After a couple of 'Baileys' another couple, myself and Lee left about midnight to sneek in a couple of games on Football Manger as the title race is hotting hot before bed and Lee wanted to be fresh for the big day to really enjoy it all!
 
From getting to Winchester I was impressed staight away and it is a lovely place and after a full breakfast we went to the church which  was set in lovely grounds and they had broken the boredom with a choir, a singer (on guitar playing classics like beatles songs) and all 
the girls were crying when the vows got under way. Even at the reception between the church and dinner there were activities like fancy dress box and camera set up to keep everyone entertained, it was a very relaxed and fun atmosphere throughout the day and night.
 
I have added pictures but it doesn't do it justice really along with a link to the best mans speech which was a amazingly  well worked video based around how Gareth proposed to Lauren (on Saturday Kitchen last valentines day)...Best man speech at bottom of page. The food was fantastic, the band which was 'Not The Rolling Stones' rocked, DJ Scrubs (Groom) took the roof off and the detail like flip flops for the girls towards the end of the night after dancing was impressive. They had a free bar all day and even went to the trouble of making sure I had a bottle of Malibu and enough pineapple juice to take a bath in!

The Sunday was chilled with breakfast and then a stroll before a Sunday roast as one of the girls lives in Dubai so rarely gets to have 
one. The bride and groom met up with after the food and looked really happy, all the hard work payed off.
 
It was a great weekend and I even forgot about all my injury problems after the last 6 months. Wicksy will have a lot to live up to in 
August but really looking forward to it after getting my invitation in the post couple of weeks ago, I expect a bottle of Malibu Mr Wicks!!
