Saucony Photo Shoot

As all the other runners have mentioned it has been snowing!! I didn't escape in Wales and had the worst snow since I can remember hit, it always has trouble sticking to the ground here as I am so close to the sea but this time it was stacking up. I went for a run with Lee who stayed home from work for an easy 5 mile run (interrupted by the odd snow ball being thrown at my head).

Because it was so bad all gyms, tracks and anything apart from the icy roads were shut so I thought I may as well take the afternoon off as there's no point just jogging again.

So this week sessions will be done on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday and the first on the list was 4 x 1mile on Wednesday night on the roads. It was much faster than last time and on a lumpy road loop and a chilly wind I ran 4:46, 4:39, 4:42, 4:40. I was taking 90 seconds jog recovery in between each rep and of course I felt it and was blowing on the last rep but times are nearly 20 seconds faster per rep than 5 weeks ago.

Today was a long day....I was up at 5:45am and on the roads with the snow again falling from the heavens. I was surprised I didn't even question going that early or just turn over and go back to sleep! I then made my way to south west England for a day of modelling (Draper isn't the only one on here), It was myself and a nice lady model doing a photo shoot for Saucony which was good fun and the time went really fast considering it was 10am-5pm and a different experience for me, hopefully it wont be the last. I will do my best to get the photos but I am sure they will be in magazines so keep your eyes peeled.
