Solihull 3k

I was looking forward to racing again after a few problems and the 3k at Solihull seemed a good start. Friday started normally until my gold cap fell off my tooth, although I did find it later, then on my run I was stung by a wasp which I thought nothing of until I woke up in the morning and my hand was almost twice its normal size. Lucky for me it did go down a bit before the race so I decided to go and give the race ago. So after a fast start I settled in the pack and felt really good, approaching the bell and on for a time of around 8:10 Mark Hanahran(fellow Brooks runner) gave me a nudge which put me out of my stride and after a desperate attempt to stay up I hit the deck pretty hard and landed on my swollen arm which did not help. I was fuming and Maria did well to calm me down and looking back now these things do happen in race
