Trainingsession 28th APR - 3rd May

Monday

AM: 50 minutes steady, felt ok.

PM: 30 minutes easy with Maria.

Tuesday

AM: Rest - went shopping, still in Portugal.

PM: Track session - 2 * 1k(90 rec) lap jog, 6 * 200(90 rec). Very windy, but I managed 2:49's and 27/28's for the 200's.

Wednesday

Rest day - traveling back from Portugal and also drove to Northfolk to pick up the dog.

Thursday

AM: 35 minutes very easy - felt ok.

PM: Track session - 200,200,400, 200,400 * 3, ran 28's and 58's. I am really struggling to run faster at the moment. Back in the day I would run 25's and 54's, although I was concentrating on 1500's.

Friday

AM: 50 minutes steady - felt fine.

PM: 35 minutes easy - recovery run, legs are tired and will be running a track session with Nicholls and Milesy tomorrow.

Saturday

AM: Track session - 10*600(60 rec). Great session, ran 1:37 average and kept in with the lads, although they did carryon and run 12.

PM: 30 minutes very very easy.

Sunday

AM: 90 minutes with Milesy, felt ok and was bouncing along at 6 minute milling.

Good old days remembered!

Steve ask Bud if he remembers the glory days of coaching the likes of John Wheway and Paul Cadman at Hadley Stadium in the 80's
Tough hard but enjoyable nights with the master!

Bud helps me with my training and also with the coaching aspect of things. I find it easy enough to coach Nick, but could not coach myself if my life depended on it - very strange. Bud is great for advise when I have any queries re Nick, it would be crazy of me to think I know everything.

Cheers

Coach

Steve- if you coach Goolab who coaches you then?
Good to see your putting in 3 speed sessions a week during the track season!
