Your immediate future plans

Cheers Steve- glad things are starting to change for the better.
With regard to your winter training and more miles- a word of advice- make sure you rest and recover properly. Listen to your mind and body and take a rest day if needed- you will benefit form this in the long run!
Attention to the small things in planning your training is vital!
Good Luck

Hi

He has cut my sessions down and made sure my easy runs are easy. I think the problem was I was doing to many hard sessions and not recovering. I have also been doing sessions I have never ran before which helps and keeps the interest high towards the end of the season. I felt loads better at Solihull and would have ran a pretty good time if I would have stayed on 2 feet with 450 to go.

I know the winter training will be different to what I have ran before, more miles, less sessions, and proper planning - looking forward to this.

Cheers

Sharpy

New training plans/ideas

Steve,
In what way has your training changed since your consultation with Lyndsey. What action plan has she advised and how are you feeling about your training/running in general after the overtraining phase?
