Back for good
Hello all
Where do I start................
Firstly, Leah and mummy Sharp are both doing well, although there are a fair few sleepless nights. Who said being parents was easy.........tut tut. Maria's folks have gone home today so we will be on our own for the first time until we head of to Ireland for 2 weeks over Xmas. Maria seems to be coping really well and has even managed a few easy runs, some weights and is already looking fantastic. I have also been called a DILF on more than one occasion.
Goolab...............
Nick is training really well and looks to be in good shape for Liverpool this weekend. We ran our session together on Saturday and it was hard work keeping up with him, although it was wet and slippy which means I normally struggle. So in fact I would probably beat him by 30 seconds, or so. He really needs to start upping his game, as apart from Mansfield(where I fell) I have smashed him every time. Its like Woods beating Twell, or even Dunne beating me. Shame on you Goolab.
Training...............
I have been on a easy period for a few weeks, but now hope to start picking my training up. I still feel pretty fit and ran a steady 9 miler at 5:50 pace yesterday, feeling super easy, and keeping my pulse 20 beats below threshold. I suppose it will be a case of not over doing it and if I have a bad night, or feel tired make sure I don't hammer training. I will be in Ireland for 2 weeks as mentioned above so will be able to train hard while there. Race wise is still not clear.................Alsager and Armagh are all races which have been pencilled in for next year, again it will be a case of how things are going.
Does anyone want me to look in my cupboards, fridge or freezer?????
Run happy
Sharpy
PS............. I will add some photo's of Leah and mummy this week.
xx
