Car search

Well what a waste off time.

Went to look at the 57 plate Brabus on P/H and A/Trader, a 5 hour round trip.

The owner had the car in Reading at his dad's house and we agreed to meet there. He never turned up and his dad was a right tit - his first words were "not bothered if you buy it or not as he is selling it to cheap". The car was dirty and looked like it had been cleaned last year. After looking around the car he asked if I wanted to buy or not, only been there 30 minutes and was still waiting for the son. Then we found some bad orange peel or dodgy paint repair on the bottom of both doors drives side, just under the crease, looked pretty bad. By this time the dad was getting a strop on and really wanted us to go after again moaning to my wife he will just buy the car and sell it on etc....... this is when my wife had a go back and told him stright what she thought of him. I  can't understand his attitude, surely the seller should come across as being helpful. I went there with 8k ready to buy the car and ended with naff all and could have quite easily layed one on his dad, so p*ssed off it aint even funny. We sold our Panda 1.4 at the weekend and the guy was there for over 2 hours checking the car and asking questions. Surely the seller should be as helpful as poss.

Rant over....

Running blog tomorrow.

Environmentally friendly

Steve
Why do you need a car when a lad as young and fit as you can run everywhere?
Treat them as training runs- pumps up the mileage, cheaper (only need to renew trainers) and great for the environment!
Your lucky your an athlete. One of the perks of the sport-and being committed to success eh?
lol

Car Search (Mates rates)

Got a Fiat Bravo on a V plate (Ferrari red) you can take off my hands for 5k, Comes with 2 years of embedded dog hairs in the seats and smells of a mixture of wet dog and sweaty running trainers...Let me know...I'll let you have a test drive and you can spend all day looking at it.
