Car Swap, 15/1/09

Hello all

so it's been a pretty busy week for me, racing, car change, and looking after Goolab. First the car, I have sold my Renault Megane GT and brought a cheaper Fiat Grande Punto Sporting for my daily 90 mile round trip. The Renault was far too nice to get hammered up and down the motorway, so I decided to get something a little cheaper. The Fiat is a lovely car and came with a very expensive number plate which I plan to sell on, and with getting the car for 1k under book price I am pretty happy. Though there is no sports button Jonesy!

Goolab had been ill after the Euro cross so I have been easing back into training and I was pretty pleased with his race on Saturday. I have also managed to get him one foot in the door at Brooks which is a massive help as he is a student. He will never look as good as me in there kit though, so don't even try Gooooooolab.

The Wife.............

She has been as busy as ever and still manages to run at least 4 days a week and go to the gym, she has bigger muscles than me. Along with her shouting at me to train harder and Bud telling what a "crazy fool" I am I sometimes wonder why I carry on.

Running has been ok since the Middlesex, though my legs were pretty sore for a few days after. I will be putting my training up on Sunday so watch this space.........
