National 6 Stage

What a great day of racing. Newham were a class apart................. but the race for silver and bronze was great. On Thursday when I heard Milesy could not run due to a bad cold, I honestly thought that our medal chances had gone, and how wrong was I, every Belgravian gave it there all and the improvement from the Southerns was immense.

Leg 1: Sharp - 3rd faster time ever - not bad for an old man.

Leg 2: Goolab - after missing the start by a few seconds he ran an awesome split on a very hard leg with plenty of big guns.

Leg 3: Jones - getting back in shape after taking one of the Birchfield Kenyans down.

Leg 4: Mulhare - another solid run from our Irish great.

Leg 5: Wicks - great running again by our top dog.

Leg 6: Sp8y - what a run. Neil had them lined up behind him and took it all in his very long stride.

Also some cracking runs by Daives, Kelly in the "B" team. Looks like we will have a awesome 12 come APR.
