Trainingsession Monday 11th October - 17th October
Week of the Commonwealth Marathon.
M- No running, long day travelling from Doha, via Bihrain to Delhi.
T- 3 mile very steady with Ben and Martin around the athletes village.
W- 3 mile steady with Ben and Micherlle around the athlees village.
T- Race day. Very little warm up, race started at 6.30am. Dropped out at 30k with a sore leg. Verypissed off!
F- No running travelling back from India.
S- No running
S- No running
Weekly total- 25 miles.
Everything was good going in to the marathon. Travel to Delhi was good, everything was good in the village and my preparation had gone well. I was not expecting to get a sore leg during the race which ended my race for me. Very pissed off with it as my hydration was fine this time, I had drank well prior o the race and I was looking forward to doing well.
