Trainingsession Training 12th December - 18th December

M- 12 mile from Sports City.  Ran the same loop over and over as I was bored the other week of the number of roads I had to cross in the city. Extra mile with Donna on her warm down.
T- Well I was going to do a 10 mile run from Sports City but ended up in a road crash.  By the time I sorted it out and my heart stopped racing I only managed to get a five mile run in.  Not a problem as I was starting with a cold anyway.
W- Track session.  Planned session was 10 x 800m.  Did 3 x 800m and then gave up.  Stupidly I went and did the tempo run with Simon Horsefields group.  Might have been best if they had gone just before I gave up on my track session but they were stikll there so went off with them.  Did a four mile tempo run knocking out some nice mile splits. 2 mile warm up and down. (Night total- 10 mile)
T- 6 mile pm steady.
F- 6 mile am steady.
S- Feeling like I was getting over the cold but didn't want to push it on a session.  As it happened Bailey has a cold and wasn't at training so wouldn't have had anyone to train with.  Went out for a snowy 10 mile run.  Felt fine.
S- Dona was racing the Turkey Trot Trail race so opted to do it with her.  Had to do 4.5 miles am to check the roads out as the snow fell early this morning.  2 mile warm up, 4.5 mile trail race and no warm down.  Won race on a shortened course in rubbish conditions. Did another 6 mile when I got home. 17 mile day.

Weekly total- 67 miles. 

Smallest weeks mileage for a little while but cut back a bit due to having a cold.  Hopefully over it now in time to get it right at the Ribble Valley 10k on 27th December.
