Trainingsession Training 14th November - 20th November

 

Monday- Road session. 2 mile warm up, 3 x 1750m, 2 mile warm down.  Hit them hard and felt good.  Had the pleasure of training with Ant Ford which was god.  (Total- 8 mile)

Tuesday- 6 mile am as I was at Sweatshop in the evening at an adidas event.  Wasn't sure if I would get a run in at night.  Ended up getting a five mile run with the Sweatshop Running Club.  Steady pace. (Total for the day- 11 mile)

Wednesday- Track session. 2 mile warm up, 16 x 400m off 30 seconds, 2 mile warm down.  400s went well and maintained a good pace.  Was on the track all alone.  (Total- 8 miles)

Thursday- 12.5 mile run pm.  Maintained a good pace throughout the run.

Friday- 6 mile am.

Saturday- Session in Heaton Park. 5 x 1 mile off 2 mins recovery.  3 mile warm up, 2.5 mile warm down.  Reps went very well.  Felt good and relaxed.  (Total- 10.5 mile)

Sunday- Preston 10 mile race.  (1st place, 49.43) Wasn't planning to do this race until Saturday evening.  2 mile warm up.  Had to get off quick after the race as Kadi was at a birthday party.  Very little warm down.  5.5 mile run later in the afternoon.

 

Weekly total- 73.5 miles

Good weeks training with some good sessions.  Race went well so on the whole a pleasing week.

great win at the weekend andi, noticed your doing around 70 miles per week lately do think theres much difference between this and the higher mileage, how do you feel!!
