Trainingsession Training 17th January - 23rd January

M- 6 mile am.  Evening run. 10.83 mile from Sports City, Manchester.  Ran through Newton Heath.  Never again!!!
T- Had the day off work due to school being closed due to boiler problems!  Result!!!  6 miles am. Session on the roads from home.  Was supposed to be at Sports City, but Man City were playing so trying do a session at 7pm when 45,000 football fans arrive would have been interesting! Session was 5 sets of 2 mins, 1 min jog recovery, 3 mins, 90 secs jog recovery.  Hit them all hardand felt ok doing them.  Had a physio appointment in the afternoon and could feel some soreness in my legs when doing the session.
W- 6 mile am.  10 mile pm with Dave Norman.  Ran from Sale Harriers on a new route to meet with my guide Dave showing me the way.  If I can find this route again I am not too sure.
T- 6 mile am.  13 mile pm.  Ran with Daimian Nicholls for 10 miles of it.  Showed Daimian a few of the hills!!!  I think he liked it!!!
F- 6 mile am. 6 mile pm.
S- Session in Heaton Park.  Warm up then six sets of a 2 minute hill, jog recovery, 1k, jog recovery to bottom of hill.  Warm down.  Felt good on the session.  Hit them all hard and feel like I am making progress.  13 mile in total for the morning.  6 miles pm.
S- 20.20 miles.  Ran all on my own.  Wanted to do 10 miles an hour.  First half was a few seconds over 60 mins and the second half ran in 58 minutes.  Felt good.  Used three Shotz Gels on the run getting ready for using them in my next marathon.

Weekly total- 122.03 miles

Next week mileage will drop a lot as we are easing down for the Northern Cross Country.
