Trainingsession Training 1st August - 7th August

M- 5.29 mile am. A very steady 10.09 mile pm with Dave Norman and Matt Shaw around Sale Water Park.
T- 6 mile am.  Track session pm.  2 mile warm up.  Session was supposed to be 16 x 400m but I have had a bad week with bad stomach.  This affected my session and I had to stop after 9 reps of the 400m.  My stomach has been bad when running since last Thursday but needed to test it on the track as I am aiming for the Sale 10 on Sunday.  After a loo stop I went back on the track and did 5 x 200m with Carl Hardman.  3.76 mile warm down with Carl and Donna.
W- 5.25 mile am all off road. 10.35 mile pm with Matt Shaw around Sale Water Park.  We hit this run hard as I was after testing my stomach out but the run involved toilet stops as had every run this week!!!
T- 7.18 mile in the afternoon.  Even though at this stage of the week we were not sure if I was going to be racing the Sale 10 we still prepared for the race as if we were doing it.
F- 6.05 mile am. 
S- 6.67 mile am.
S- 2 mile warm up, Sale 10 race, 3.65 mile warm down.  Finished the race in third place in 50.03.  Decided to race after running Saturday to see if I was over my stomach issues of this last week.  I still hadn't managed to complete a run without stopping but I did feel as thoughI was getting better.  Was hoping to run low 49, if not a shade under 49 but when the race got under way I could feel that I didn't feel quite right and didn't have bags full of energy.  But I got through the race with no real stomach issues, so hopefully this problem is behind me.  Afternoon steady run with Donna. 6.91 mile.

Weekly total- 88.2 mile.  Pleased with the week considering I was having problems with my stomach.  Not sure what the issue was or why I encountered it.  I haven't started eating anything different or doing anything different apart from having a nap in the afternoons some days!.
