Trainingsession Training 21st March - 27th March

M- 6 mile am. 10 mile pm.  Ran from home up on the moors.  Hadn't realise how dry March had been until I got on the moors.  Cracking afternoon for running.
T- 6 mile am, 10 mile pm.  Was thinking tonight would be a track session but was advised to not do it after hurting my ribs and chest at weekend.  Run went well.
W- 15 mile run pm.  Ran it hard. 1 hr 26mins.
T- 6 mile pm
F- 6 mile am
S- 6 mile am with 5 x 1min strides.  Felt good.
S- 2 mile warm up, Wilmslow Half Marathon. 12th place, 67.22.  Not a great race.  (Brief report in Race Report section) 10 mile pm. http://tpks.ws/6grI If that works it should be a link to my Times Global Trainer GPS watch data from the race.

Probably a bit silly going out for 10 mile in the late afternoon but wanted to punish myself!

Week was going well and I was feeling good.  Pain in chest had gone and I was looking for a good run at Wilmslow.  was aiming for anything under 66 mins looking at the current training I had been doing.  Maybe Wednesday nights 15 miler was just too hard and too close to the half marathon.

Weekly total- 90 miles.
