Trainingsession Training 23rd Jan - 29th Jan

An easy week in order to ease down for the Northern XC Champs.  The two weeks orevious had been 120 mile weeks.

M- 10 mile pm with Joe and Carl.  Good pace maintained.
T-  Track session.  3 mile am, 16 x 400m off 30 secs, 3 mile warm down.  (10 mile total)
W- 6 mile pm.
T- 6 mile am.
F- 6 mile am.
S- Northern XC Champs.  2 mile warm up, 8 mile race, 2 mile warm down.  Finished 16th.  Didn't have a great run but stuck it out.  Report in race report section.  Garmin of race here.
S- 24.24 mile run with Carl.  Made the route up as went along and it turned out to be a great Sunday morning run.  Flat canals, wooded trails, hills and some roads.  I think Carl enjoyed it!

Weekly total- 74.24 miles

An easy week was in need for after the two previous weeks mileage.  I felt very good on Tuesday and Wednesday but come the start of the Northern XC things were different.  Still not sure why I felt so flat and sluggish as the gun went but these things happen.
