Trainingsession Training 28th June - 4th July

Training went well this last week.  Started as a big week and by Wednesday started to do once a day in preparation for the Manchester 10k.

M- 6 miles am, 11 miles pm
T- 6 miles am, Track session pm.  First track session since before the London Marathon.  Warm up, 12 x 400m off 30 secs, warm down. 9 mile total.
W- 11 miles pm
T- 10 miles pm
F- 6 miles am
S- 7 miles am with some strides
S- Manchester 10k.  Not sure how it was going to turn out but the easier week obviosuly helped.  3 mile warm up, 10k race, 2nd place 29.32, followed by 14 mile with Joe bailey.  Total for the day 23 miles.

Weekly total- 89 miles

Smaller week than the few weeks prior but needed to have an easier week due to the miles ran this last month.  Was good to be back racing.  First proper race since the London Marathon.  Was pleased with the time even though I suspect the race might be a few metres short.  This week will see a return back to big mileage as the marathon is now fast approaching.
