Trainingsession Training 6th December - 12th December

Another solid week and towards the end of the week the rain came and washed away the snow and ice.  Goodbye snow and ice, hello a little faster running!!!

M- 6 mile am. 10.27 mile.  Slow pace for much of due to snowy conditions.
T- 6 mile am.  No session in the evening due to the snow and ice.  Did 10 mile from Sports City while Donna did her circuit session.  Ran up Clayton Vale to Daisy Nook.
W- 6 mile am. 10 mile pm.  Was able to do this run in 58mins 57secs as I ran round Manchester City Centre.  Paths were in good condition and suitable for getting a little faster pace in the run.
T- 6 mile am. 10.79 mile pm with Jason Ward.  Still snowy and icey but it had started raining earlier in the day.  The paths had turned to clear ice.  One section of the run we would be going ok, next mile we would be skating along trying not to fall.
F- 6 mile am.  Was down for 6mile pm but decided to miss it as I felt empty and sleepy.
S- Road session in Heaton Park, Manchester.  Only Ben Riddell down to train with.  Had to get five reps done this time if I am going to be in shape for Ribble Valley.  Warm up 2.5 miles, 5 x 1 mile off 2 mins recovery. Warm down 2.5miles.  Felt ok and relaxed during the session.  Park Run was on so park was busy for some of the reps.  Also the Park Run seemed to have been invaded by a lot of Father Christmas's!!!  Evening run 6.10 mile.  Nice and steady and had some good climbs in it.
S- Long run.  Had to get up early to get my run done as Donna was meeting some people to run with at 10am.  I don't mind running on my home and setting off at 6.50 is still a lie in considering I go running at 5am during the week.20.09 miles.

Weekly total- 108 mile.

A pleasing weeks training and was a little surprized with the weekly mileage total.
Looking for another good week next week.  Can't wait for Friday to come and the last day of work for me this year.  The term seems to be going on and on.  I say this all the time, but each term seems to be just one week too long!
