Trainingsession Training 7th Feb - 13th Feb
M- 6 mile am, 10 mile pm. Got my evening run done in daylight as the school had to stay closed Monday due to elecrtical problem and flooding.
T- 6 mile am. Road session pm. Little warm up as I was very late getting back from a meeting. Session was always going to go wrong. Started it and tried to get in to it but it wasn't happening. Stopped after four sets. Spoke with my coach and decided there and then to take a week away from sessions. Feeling tired each time I do a session and I shouldn't be. Hopefully the next week of just running will help me out. Went for a 3 mile warm down. (7 mile total)
W- 6 mile am. 10 mile pm. Ran most of my evening run with Matt Shaw.
T- 15.01 mile with 90% off road. Some muddy moors and tracks covered. Time 1hr 37mins. Felt very relaxed.
F- 6 mile am, 6 mile pm.
S- 13 mile am. 6 pm. (No session)
S- Long sunday run with Dave Norman. Ran 20.07 miles in 1hr 59mins 32secs. Felt very relaxed and easy. Run was very flat compared to my usual Sunday 20 mile runs.
Weekly total- 111.08 mile
Pleased to keep my mileage up and hopefully having a few more days before I do a session will help me out. I have entered the Trafford 10k now as well. Enjoyed this weekends running. Really enjoyed running with Dave Norman this morning as we used to run a lot together on Sundays in the good old days either from my place in Hadfield or from the Normans house. I remember one day in the winter when I was off work and Dave had a free day we headed off to macclesfield to do a long run one afternoon. Only problem was it snowed real hard and we went in my rear wheel drive car and nearly ended up in a ditch!!!!
