Trainingsession Training 7th March - 13th March

M- 10 miles pm with Gaz Raven and Andy & Dave Norman.  Steady around Manchester City Centre.
T- Evening session.  Warm up, 5 x 1min (30 secs recovery), 6 x 3min (1 min recovery), 5 x 1min (30 secs recovery)  Warm down.  11 mile total. Session went well until I came to the warm down where I had to stop twice for shits!  Finally made it back to Sports City with a sore arse, headed home for dinner and straight to bed.  Didn't even try to watch Shameless as I didn't feel great.
W- Woke up and felt fine so not sure what last night was all about.  Ran 10 mile pm in 59 mins.
T- 10 mile pm in 58 mins
F- 6 mile am
S- 6 mile am with some strides.
S- Trafford 10k.  2 mile warm up, race 30.48, 2 mile warm down. 6 mile pm.  Mainly off road and steady.

Weekly total- 69 miles.

This week was planned as an easy week after having a month of high mileage.  The Trafford 10k could have gone one of two ways.  Was hoping to run about 30.20 but it didn't happen.  Got detached from a group in front of me and by the time I knew they were gone I was all alone!  Going to do a few speedier sessions in the coming weeks.  Felt very strong, but not fast.
Next week I will also increase the mileage as I approach the final few weeks before VLM.

15th at trafford 10k , that must be a half decent field!
